Netkiosk terms and conditions.

Due to new version releases and version updates, some of the license terms included in the installation packages may vary. You should always refer to our official, up-to-date license terms and conditions listed here on our website.

General terms and conditions are, in general, also included in all installation packages of Netkiosk.
Please contact us if you are not sure what you are allowed to do with each of the licenses.

Start of the license.

From this point, Netkiosk will be referred to as “the program” and jtmkiosksystems will be referred to as “the copyright holder”. Netkiosk, as in “the program,” refers to all Netkiosk versions, either currently available or previously released.
The program also refers to the Netkiosk brand name, website, and any content on the website.
All copyrights to the program are exclusively owned by its author, jtmkiosksystems, and its principal owner.

Applies to any previous promotional free version.

If you have managed to obtain a copy of a promotional limited license period free version that was made available in 2022 or 2023 you may no longer use this version. The free version had a strict limited time license period which has since expired. You need to uninstall this version from all of your devices and purchase a new license.
As of the first of January 2024 continued use of our free promotional limited license period version is in violation of our terms and conditions. You MUST purchase licenses.

Applies to any trial version of the program.

1. Any trial version of the program may NOT be used in a public or commercial environment.
2. If any trial version of the program is used in a public or commercial environment our license terms are immediately accepted and the purchase of a license is accepted, whether yet paid for, or not.
3. If there is a need to test any trial version of the program in a public or commercial environment this has to be requested in writing.
4. We may ban any company or person that tries to try to ignore or bypass our licensing terms.
5. All general Netkiosk terms and conditions apply.

General license terms and conditions. This applies to ALL Netkiosk versions.

Netkiosk may only be used in a public or commercial environment if valid paid-for licenses have been purchased and issued. The decision to grant continued use of Netkiosk while payment for licenses is pending is entirely at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse the purchase or renewal of Netkiosk licenses if a customer violates our license terms and conditions.

License copy rights.
All Netkiosk versions contain various copyrights which are owned exclusively by Mr. Aime Snijders, and for which a license fee is due if the application is used in a public or commercial environment. License fees depend on the Netkiosk application and copyright herein contained.

Applies to all licenses of the program.

• All versions of the program are distributed with a full proprietary commercial single PC license.
• Each single license is valid for use on 1 PC only.
• Netkiosk may not be used on multiple monitors that are attached to one device.
• Netkiosk may NOT be installed on thin clients or multiple PCs with just 1 license.
• If available multi license packages are valid for use on the stated number of PCs.
• Unless otherwise stated, all licenses for the program are valid for a period 12 months.
• All general Netkiosk terms and conditions apply.

Netkiosk license renewals

• Netkiosk licenses are not automatically renewed. They have to be renewed manually.
• We will inform you in writing that your license is due to expire.
• We will always try to maintain the price you paid when you first purchased Netkiosk as long as it is not 5 or 10 years ago.
• We will always try to avoid any price increase and try to keep the lowest possible prices.
• If you no longer wish to use Netkiosk when the license expires you must uninstall Netkiosk from all your devices.
• When you decide to buy and use Netkiosk it is your responsibility to be fully aware of our terms and conditions.
• All general Netkiosk terms and conditions apply.

For distributors, resellers or IT companies. White-listed versions

General terms and conditions for all the program versions

The program is licensed as proprietary software and may therefore only be used as per the terms and conditions of the license. The program may be permanently transferred, in its entirety, if the person receiving it agrees to the terms of this license and if the original package is not modified in any way.

The original installation package or the program may not be modified in any way whatsoever.
The installation package or the program may not be distributed inside of any other software package without the written permission of the copyright holder. You may not modify, recompile, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the installation package, the program, or any subset of the program. Hacks, cracks, or other unknown programs or scripts may not be included in the installation package or in the program. Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

Some websites that promote the program or Netkiosk information often do so without our knowledge and without our permission. This often leads to inaccurate or misleading information. Therefore, please always refer to our official website for news and updates.

The program is distributed “as is”. No warranty of any kind is expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the program at your own risk. Neither the author(s) nor the agent(s) of the author(s) will be liable for data loss, damages, loss of profits, or any other kind of loss while using or misusing this software.

Terms and conditions, updates, and changes

Any of the terms and conditions can be changed at any time with reasonable warning.
Installing and using the program signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of this license.
If you do not agree with the terms of this license, you must remove the program files from your storage devices and cease to use the product.
