As a business, you get Netkiosk for free at no cost to you, and in turn your customers, visitors, or students are charged for PC access time via member accounts.
We will also share 70% of all revenue we collect from any customers, visitors, or students that sign up for a paid member account to use Netkiosk on your PCs.
This brand new Netkiosk option may be beneficial to you if you want to control or restrict PC access while also trying to generate some extra revenue for your organization.
For example, it would be ideal for a hotel in a tourist destination to let your guests pay for PC access time, which should hopefully also benefit the local economy. More below.
Which Netkiosk version should I download?
You should only use Netkiosk EdgeKiosk for this. You can download Netkiosk EdgeKiosk from our home page or from the download page.
This new version can be used by anyone and anywhere in the world. Just download Netkiosk EdgeKiosk and see if it works for you. The benefits may be very profitable to you.
How should I configure Netkiosk?
- You download and install the free version of Netkiosk EdgeKiosk from our homepage or download page.
- In the free version, the default homepage will always be https://netkiosk.co.uk/startpublicaccess.
We can create a custom redirect to your own homepage after a member logs in. More below. Please contact us for more information. - As admin, you can log in to Netkiosk admin settings where you set a secure settings password, configure the whitelist, and more.
- When you have secured the settings, you close admin settings.
- Public users can now log in or create a public access account to start using the PC.

How does the customer or visitor get access to the PC?
- A visitor or customer creates a Netkiosk subscription account here.
- They can choose from a monthly member account (ideal for colleges or libraries) or select a day pass membership. (Ideal for hotels, etc.)
We have multiple options to change the custom page and member prices for you. Please read below. - Upon payment, they can instantly start using the PC.
- A member logs in on this page: https://netkiosk.co.uk/startpublicaccess.
- Upon login, the page automatically expands to show a hidden section showing a custom Google Search page.
A user can then start browsing the web using the safe search default Google page.
Allowed websites can easily be set in the white list in admin settings. - When finished, a user simply logs out from their account.
- They can simply log in the next time they want to use the PC, as long as their subscription is still active.

You can get your own free custom visitor login page with my own logos and with custom member access prices.
We can create a custom page for your hotel, tourist guest accommodation, college, or library with custom member access prices in your local currency, logos, etc. A member who uses your PCs then sees your custom business page and custom prices from where they create a member account or log in. The custom login page can be in your own language with logos and more. (We may need your help with some translation.) It is possible to redirect the member or visitor to your own website. Please contact us for more information. There is no charge to get your own custom homepage. Please contact us. We can usually get this ready for you in a day.

Additional useful information.
Will I see any advertising from Netkiosk on the custom Netkiosk home page?
No. However, websites your users visit may show ads, but this is completely out of our control.
You can use the content filter in Netkiosk admin settings to control which sites users can access.
Just make sure you do not remove the “nekiosk” keyword or the custom homepage will not work.
Do I still need to register my Netkiosk license?
Yes, in any Netkiosk version, you need to register or activate the license.
In the free version you simply register your license in Netkiosk admin settings.
There is nothing else you need to do.
Who controls the member payments and subscription? Payment safety is paramount!
We have a commercial business account with PayPal. A member can cancel their membership at any time directly via their PayPal account.
We will never have access to the members payment information, as these are all stored with PayPal.
PayPal is used by millions of people around the world, and by using PayPal as the default payment form, visitors or members will simply trust it more.
Why is PayPal with Netkiosk better in tourist destinations?
Many foreign visitors will already have a PayPal account, making it much easier for them to start using your public PCs.
And as they are charged in USD, the 70% profit share we give you will work out much better than having to charge visitors in your local currency.
After all, a foreign visitor will not have a problem paying $4.99 to access your PCs if they need to print important documents like flight tickets or similar.
We can also configure a custom homepage for you with custom prices or prices in your local currency. There is no charge for this. Please contact us if you want this.

You simply need to inform your customers, visitors, or students that they now need to pay for PC access.
